Before I joined the Complete K9 team I had originally studied Graphic Design. In 2018 I graduated with a Bachelor of Design Degree from a joint program offered through York University and Sheridan College. I loved my time at school and definitely learned a lot.
Since then I have held a variety of roles in Customer Service, Graphic Design, and even Hospitality (as a Baker). In the Winter of 2021 I completed a Baking and Pastry Arts Skills course at Conestoga College. I love baking all kinds of desserts but my favourite part is decorating!
In late summer/early fall of 2021 I started to think about different career paths and considered all my interests. In the back of my mind I always knew I loved animals and was excited at the thought of working with them everyday.
In November 2021, I reached out to Heidi hoping they were still looking for new hires - I was in luck! I went on my working interview, started training as an individual walker and now I work part time with the team and I'm loving it!
In the future, I hope to have a dog of my own and continue to do what I love!
