Fun Fact: Polish was my first language!

My name is Alex! Growing up on a farm, I was always surrounded by plenty of dogs and all kinds of other animals. Animals are very near and dear to my heart. I always thought I'd become a vet and honestly, my parents are still pretty convinced I will be! I find I am at my best when I am outdoors or with some furry friends, luckily I get both working for Complete K9!

Before joining Complete K9, I was in a Bachelor of Arts program at Wilfrid Laurier University. After about 5 years of taking a huge variety of classes, I decided to take a break from my grueling education and take some time to figure out what I'm passionate about and where I'd like my future to go. My passions include climate change, sustainability, Indigenous issues, as well as animal care. I'm not exactly sure what my future has in store for me, but I can't wait to find out!

My dog Jamie was a gift I received in high school and have cherished since. She is 7 years old and a mixture of four breeds (that I know of)! She is Newfoundland Labrador x German Shepherd Border Collie, though just about everyone who has met her has been convinced she's at least part Rottie. She's an absolute sweetheart and will do anything for belly rubs. My 4-year-old cat Lucifer is a sweet, cuddly man (when he wants to be) that I took in from the farm. He has a huge, demanding personality and insists that he is the master of all humans.

It is such a joy to work with your dogs every day and I appreciate you entrusting me with your furry family member!
