Before I started working for Complete K9, I was set on becoming a Veterinarian Technician. I worked at numerous vet clinics for multiple years and even attended Northern College for their vet tech program, but quickly realized that it wasn’t how I wanted to work with animals. Thanks to an old colleague, I heard that a dog walking company was looking to hire a new staff member, and here I am 5 years later!

I started out doing individual walks as a K9 Nanny and was asked to be a K9 Pack Leader soon after. I've been doing pack walks since fall 2016 and loved every minute! I couldn't have envisioned my life any better; running through fields with up to nine slobbery, tail wagging dogs at my side!

In May 2017 my life changed for ever… I finally got my own dog. I adopted an 8 month old Border-Collie mix, Maverick, from the KW Humane Society. She's had such a positive impact on my life and her training (thanks to Complete K9 training classes) I've seen her come so far.

July 2021, Oakley, the puppy I raised for National Service Dogs, became Maverick's new brother since his health prevented him from going into service. They love coming to work with me because they get to play with their fur-friends and meet new ones!

I have already met so many awesome clients and their dogs and look forward to meeting many more!
